Default need interior help!!!

I removed my door panel on the passenger side because the door handle had come loose. that board in there must have gotten wet at one time, its falling apart. I called the dealership and they are talking about 350 for a door panel so, does anyone know what i can use if i just want to replace the board?

I'll state the obvious:
Goto a wreckkers yard and yank a door from one there...
It should just be the hinge bolts that you need to remove, (might want a 2nd person there to help you left it while removing the bolts) take it home to strip it or stip it there at the yard if they will let you...

What board are you talking about?
Can you post a pic of it (this could help people recognise your problem)...??
You could always make a new board...

Cheers

^^he's talkin about the cardboard door panel....same thing happend to me

and yeah your best bet would be a wreckers....was the plastic still over the door between the metal and cardboard? make sure it is there before you put a new panel on or you will be redoing it again. you can use plastic from a hardware store that is used for covering floors while mudding. its thick and easy to use. and just cut it to size and sillicone it on the metal frame..

well, unfortunatly here in Omaha Nebraska people seem to wanna keep their accents, Ive been to every junkyard in town and found only 3 hyundais none of which were accents. there is a place called ALL FOREIGN that buys up all the wrecked ones, but they refuse to give me a door panel, its the type of place that you tell them what you want and they take it off the car, Im not allowed to go out on the lot. plus this place is usually pretty expensive for buying a used part off a wrecked car. but anyway, yeah, im talking about that hard cardboard/partical board type stuff that sits just behind the material on the door. I would guess that I could buy it somewhere in just like a sheet of it but i have no idea. im gonna call a body shop...

I think it's 1/4" MDF, or Pressboard ... you can source either of these at you local lumber store.
Just use your old one as a template.
Recover it with cool fabric instead of Hyundai Gray.
