Default 4g15 tear down

I took the head off yesterday to find out why i only had compression in 2 cylinders and find i blew the head gasket between cyl. 2 and 3. I was going to just replace the gasket, but I decided to rebuild it. I got the block out last night, stripped it down this morning and sent it to the machine shop. I'm glad i decided to go the extra mile, when I got inside of it i found ALL the bearings were gouged, and I had a broken ring. Here are some pics I took last night.

I've had this laying around for about a year, what a better time to put it in. I layed it beside the stock manifold for comparison. You can also see the head gasket.

Non-interfearance engine my @ss!

Almost out..

More pics to follow as I go.....

Man that gasket is FOOKED! I'd have a look around to see if there are peobable causes of overheating as well bro, ie. jammed/sedimentation on the thermostat, deposit-clogged radiator etc. etc. etc.

I hope you guys like pics as much as i do.....

I had to relocate the o2 sensor, as i'm not running the stock mani. its not pretty, but it doesn't leak.

A full engine bay shot. I was really wanting to roll this thing outside and pressure was the engine bay before i stuffed the engine back in, but it doesn't look like its gonna get above freezing for another week or more.

My new ecu I still have to put in, came out of a 4G37, to go w/ the TB, injectors, and air flow sensor

My next project, can anyone tell what happened? The last pic should be a dead give away...
