new exhaust. any suggestions???

so im going to get a catback exhaust. id like to get the best sound. not the bee as we call it. I want to what my best size piping would be... 2 1/4, or 2 1/2. plus whats my best bet for a muffler. i was quoted 130 for piping and install, and i provide my own muffler. im guessing thats a good price. thanks

Checkers has a (rice cannon) muffler for like 40 bucks with a removeable silencer. All mufflers do the same thing allow free flowing exhaust to exit freely. Just different styles shapes etc all (rice cannons) do the same thing. I have a 2 & 1/2 in exhaust on my accent Gt 03

I like the Dynomax Super turbo muffler...it looks nice and plain, sounds great and is pretty cheap.
