you can use a reducer and clamps but the problem you run into is you have no hangers for the muffler.
You should just bite the bullet and how a reputable muffler shop do the work. Just to install a muffler it should cost somewhere between 75-100 bucks and it will be done right the first time so you won't have to worry about leaks later down the road.

Exaust question
and i was wondering if you get a muffler and just cut the stock one out if you can just clamp the new one on or is it better to dish out the $$$$$ to get it welded on cause when i drive it sounds like my muffler wants to explode (exagetaring) and i want to get a flowmaster or dynomax muffler to replace it but i dont have the $$$ to have some douche rip me off to have it installed
