I think its more about distracting lights and something that is out of the ordinary that may cause drivers to not pay attention to driving.

Some countries do not allow any "tuning" cause of insurance purposes.

You'd probably have to check with your local governing body dealing with motor vehicles with regards to extra lights.

you will have to find out in your state, i know in illinois you can have white in front, white or amber on sides, and amber or red in back... pretty much so they match the color of lites that people are used to seeing at that angle of the car... also this is whats legal while driving, when you are parked im pretty sure its all legal

you my friend are right in one way. if you have any under colors in illinois, its illegal. any neons visible, illegal. and no white is not ok. it must be the same color as the factory equiped lights. the fake hid bulds for your headlights are illegal too. though cops hardly ever write tickets, they are illegal. And please dont try to argue. if theres one thing i know its illinois vehicle code. not this is not the same for every state. i can find out about florida for u. let me call a friend who is a cop there. now the lights in florida are different. i wanna say miami, or that county has a different ordance regarding them. but ill try and find out for u. my police books i have are illinois only. and underglow is pretty rice. i have one only cause it was sitting in my room, from my old show car.

edit: florida laws-

316.2397 Certain lights prohibited; exceptions.--
(1) No person shall drive or move or cause to be moved any vehicle or equipment upon any highway within this state with any lamp or device thereon showing or displaying a red or blue light visible from directly in front thereof except for certain vehicles hereinafter provided. (2) It is expressly prohibited for any vehicle or equipment, except police vehicles, to show or display blue lights. However, vehicles owned, operated, or leased by the Department of Corrections may show or display blue lights when responding to emergencies.

^^Just because you haven't been pulled over for your interior lighting doesn't mean it's not illegal, or that you won't get a ticket if you're pulled over for something else and the Officer notices it.

In Illinois: blue lights can be displayed on the exterior and interior of a moving vehicle, but they cannot be flashing (e.g. blue turn signals=illegal); red lights (applies only to exterior, I think) are always illegal.

Blue Lights..... yeah those = Cop magnets in Texas. I have the underglow kit, and some in my enterior. Military ID's are great when you get pulled over, I dont turn mine on anymore driving down the highway, I got 3 warnings for it in the span of 36 hours. so I am not chancing it anymore, but I do love the kits great for sitting in a parkinglot. but not to hot for driving. thats my 2 cents.
