Default Something is wrong... eep

Well my accent is acting up. When accelerating it'll stutter and the CEL will blink quite a few times. It started last week. I don't think it's the MAF because I've installed a new one last week. Soon, i'll get the CEL codes checked out.

More in detail. Start the engine. It runs ok. It accelerates well with a cold engine then 2 minutes into driving can't accelerate. Well it does accelerate but not normally. It sounds like it's choking? Any ideas?

Yes, it could certainly be the plugs and wires, which should have been replaced a LOOONG time ago. That would be the first thing to change.

If it

Stutter than die when warm,
can't restart while block is warm,
when it's dying you can keep it alive a little by revving

Check seals between air sensor and piping, and intake manifold/throttle body and head, etc. a leak on intake results in mostly lean condition.

But don't fix this first, unless you know it leaks cuz the other stuff is cheaper.

I agree with every one about the plugs and wires. My Supra was doing some odd stuff like that and I got the plugs and wires replaced and it drove like a new car. Cheap facotry plug wires loose conductivity over time so they are just as important to replace as the plugs.
