Default X3: Installing Central Locking

I installed a central locking system on to my X3 Excel the other day. I tapped into the hazards wiring behind the fuse box to power the control module.

That was all a success, but I still have one problem I need to solve.

I have one wire from the central locking module which is supposed to tap into the turn signals, so it can flash the turn signal repeaters. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dean.

Ummmm didnt you do that when you tapped into the hazard lights circuit...

My understanding is that the hazzard lights and the turn indicators are the same lights...
Well at least they operate the same bulbs...
What distinguishes the 2 circuits (or should i say 3) is which lights are operated at a given time...
IE the hazzard lights will operate all 6 globes at once...
Turn indicators will only operate 3 globes at one time (left or right hand side of the car depending on which way you pushed the lever)...

Why do you need to tap into the turn signal circuit when you already have the hazzzard light circuit??

Unless by hazzard lights you are reffering to the driving light circuit...

Cheers
