ok i have a 2005 accent gt i was wondering if our stock gt spoiler was even functional does it help with downforce??? or just to make our cars attempt to look cool

i'm not sure at all on this, but i'm going to take a guess and say that no it does not. it just doesn't make sense why the money would be spent on designing a functional spoiler for a $10k car
