Default Problem with CAI

help me out guys! connected the cai pipe, connected all the sensors and stuff ! when i start the car it idles abit odd and when i give it gas it either shudders or cuts out!

unplug your battery, wait like 10 minutes, then plug it back in

tried that...now it jus idles normal and when i give it gas it still wants to cut out

90% sure you maf is backwards.

ok! tried the ecu reset thing! now it doesnt want to cut out! when u press the accel it labours! u hav to tap the accel repeatedly for it to move! ah...

if it isn't backwards then is the tubing before it (by tubing before i meaning tubing between the throttle body and maf) on all the way?..... or is there a hole beteween the maf at tb that the IAT should go in? Air can only flow throught the maf one way it should have an arrow that points in the direction that the air should flow.

+1 on the arrow. If you dont see an arrow flip the maf around and see if that doesn't solve the problem.

ok! flip the maf and it works sweeet! but what i dont get when i flip it! its backwards to when it was stock!

....what the hell is goin on. it would idle gud, drive gud but say u give tap the gas or drive then come off the accel it wud either shudder or cut out!!!!
