Default MC dash light change.

OK I've looked and found that they have made it even harder this time to change the color. They now use a surface mounted LED which is about 2mm in size. But I'm gonna try to do it. Hell it might cost me a guage cluster but if it works I'll have the only RED colored MC dash.

Keeping in mind that red is a bit hard to read at night (or so I've been told, even though red light least affects for night vision)...

Its also not too hard to solder surface mount LEDs (just have a bit of a practice first, you might kill the first few but smeh)...
Buy a soldering iron tip that is made for it (ends in 2 prongs with a gap wide enough so that the LED can fit between it)...
Also, if you don't already, invest in a digital thermostat controlled soldering station...

Cheers

I'd suggest trying it out on a cluster you buy, not the original. (so you can keep your original mileage if you screw up)
