Default lighter tires

well, after getting my fat 5's put on, the 195/55/R15 has to go, they're bigger heavier than the 195/50/R15's I used to run on,

handling isnt' as sharp as it was with the 50's

i have looked at the dunlop direzza's where i work but they're a bit on the heavy side bue to it's heavy stiff sidewall,

The FM901 tire on my car is actually a light tire, the sidewall is thin but it make's up for it by being allowed to be inflated over 50Psi

what sucks' is that the FM901 is discontinued,

but still what are my option's for a lighter tire?

I'm looking at the kumho Ecsta SPT and the falken ZE512

The ZE512 are great I got them as well. But will be upgrading to a Z rated next year with the up and coming Turbo install.

i run falkens as well, i bought them cause they were cheap, but i'm impressed with them after a few months of beating them, not the grip monsters that my old t1-r's were, but they've already out-lasted them(tore through those in a couple of months).

i wish tire rack still sold the kumho Ecsta 711..for $40..it couldn't be beat..

i was gonna buy another set of them but they're either not being carried or are expensive..almost $98 on a popular tire online store.

falken ZE512..i worked on a few car's that had that tire..the shoulder blocks looked lifted or stretched..

cheap 195/50/R15 rubber...hmmm..i wish they had a 195/45/R15..but doe's such a size exist?

you got what you got what you paid for..

don't expect GSD3 performance from a Cooper Tire Price tag..
