Default Good Exhaust Set up?

Just wondering if anyone has come up with a good exhaust setup for the 1.6? i have a 07 GLS, so far really all i've found is the Evo-Fusion full set up, has anyone just changed their muffler and got a good sound and performance from that? i dont know if i wanna drop the around $700 on the Evo yet.

You wont really get any performance from just changing the muffler...

You really have to do the full thing to get the most benefit...
Try getting a quote for a custom one made...
I know people who have gotten a cat back exhaust for under AU$300...

cheers

i got a hooker muffler with an awsome sound... but performance wise... very little... maybe a little bit with my air filter aswell... but if your keeping your accent for a while, get the full exhaust. my accent may be sold by next year and ...

I got the Canadian Muffler here is a small video with sound.

Canadian Muffler

But yah to get true performance gains you need to go CAT back. The EVO will need to be modified from the headers back but any good shop should be able to do it.

Default exhaust

To many people go cheap thinking they can just get the muffler stick it on and get sweet performance. You'll get loud noise thats it. Go all out, Headers downpipe and muffler then you will notice a gain in power. www.sharkracing.com sells nice 4-2-1 headers so all you will need is a downpipe and muffler. That will open up the airflow for sure.

Thanks for all the input, i think im gonna go with the new headers and all, i've almost got my interior completely done, so exhaust might be my next project.
