Default short shifter for accent

do they short shifters for elantras and tibs fit the accent? i'm having trouble finding a short shifter anywhere for the accent thats decently priced. i've had twm recommended but i dont really want to spend 130 for a shifter. any help?

I think the elantras will work. I got a B & M one. I can remember what year.

I got the TWM one and it works really well. The B&M Tiburon one does work too.

I got the TWM shifter as well. You can tell it was good quality the shifter was made of solid steel. The support that TWM gives you if you have any questions is amazing. Also it was only about 30 minutes to install. worth the money. You don't want to be fooling around with shifter from other cars as they may fit in the ball and cup joint but not link up with all the gears.

i've got the fidanza short throw shifter. (For the elantra.. I don't have the part number handy though)

ran me $80 and I love it.

DIY Short Shifter mod (instrusctions under construction)

$0 if you can weld, have a drill, hack saw and a piece of scrap metal rod.

The shifters for the tib and elantra will fit the accent with no problems..

i bought a $2 ebay short shifter that was for a RD tiburon,
installation was great, no problems..couldn't have been happier.

I'm happy with my TWM as well, great customer service. I got nearly 40% off because I was the first one to test the thing on my year of car.
