Default Angel eye lights only for right hand drive?

PSC Motorsport.com

For the x3 1996 accent I own which is left hand drive I want to get these angel eye lights but it says not for left hand drive only right. If I got them anyway would they really not work..., what's so different aren't they all just lights.....?

The only reason it's different is the aiming. The LHD ones would be aimed a bit more to the right as to not blind oncoming traffic. The RHD would of couse be aimed more to the left. It's a suble change and i'm sure if you reaimed them properly (using the guides on the web) that it would be fine.

But yeah vamp's got lighting kits too and would definitely be cheaper as far as shipping is concerned!

byvampdesign only has one lighting kit and it's only for 00-05 accents and it's not the angel eye kit that I want. If it's just the aiming I think I might try and get it it. You said there's a way I can fix the aim of the lights anyway right?

if you go to a hardware store get a mini blind wand figure out how big you want the angel eye and cut the wand in half make slits about an inch away from the ends of the size you need then get a can the size you need and a heat gun bend the wand make little holes about a quarter inch deep in each end get 2 leds for each one and a couple of resistors so the leds will hold 12 volts stick 1 in each end with the resistors attached to the power side of the leds remove your headlamp cover and super glue the angel eyes to the headl;amps and run the wire out and connect wire anyway you want it whether it is up to your headlamps parking lamps etc i made my own set and they look good it cost me about 5 dollars and a lot of time for both asngel eyes and now i am doing my tail lamps if you want me to biuld them for you and you just mount them in respond back to this post and we will figure out a price along with the dimensions that i need

How good do they work..., I need something that works good (very bright) as my current headlamps absolutely suck..., people can;t even tell when I have my highbeams on. If I can just get the other lights from that sight for cheaper I might if I can realign them that is. Just PM me what you want to do and i'll see.

If you want brighter light put higher wattage bulbs in them...
Don't use those 7000K globes (blue/white)...
Yellow/white light is most visible (6000k max)...

If you want brighter still go HID xenon...

Angle eyes don't put out much extra light as they are only lit by LEDs..
But yeah...

Cheers

Well, my lights are VERY old..., I got new bubls but I think the headlamps just need to be replaced..., my one just keeps fogging up and getting dark green and the other is clear but is not bright.., I think some of the reflective material broke inside from a little collision a few years ago. So I want new headlights with the angel eyes cause they look good and if it's not bright enough i'll go the extra mile and get the HID.

well go to a junk yard get a new set of headlamps that are not cracked use your cracked one for practice on opening the headlamp housing because if you make your own you need to do this to install them or if you get some sealer from a hardware store depending on where the crack is you may be able to clean the inside of your headlamps and repair them at the same time

as far asget more light like in the previous post go with brighter lamps the angel eyes are for looks only not for more light to see by at night
