Default tachometer

I have a 1998 hyundai accent left side drive with the standard gauge cluster not the deluxe gauge cluster and I am trying to add an aftermarket tachometer to it and I can't find the wire that I need to hook the tach part of the gauge up to to receive the signal for the RPM's. Any help or diagram's would greatly be appreciated. No more stupid well look here and here I am very agrivated witht these answers I need not pin outs because pin # 47 on the ecu dosent work nor the # 6 pin from the right nor the supposed green and yellow wire which is green and white doesn't work either none of my gauge plugs have the wire either. so some real help would be appreciated

There have been a number of write ups already on this topic...

I'm fairly sure that there was a really good one with the wiring diagrams and all floating around somewhere...

Buy hey your new so let me point out the search function...
Its roughly in the middle of your screen about 10cm (4") down...
In the top orange bar...

Search for X3 (as that's what your car is), tacho install, and other such variations of those...

If that turns up nothing go an buy a repair manual/workshop manual for your car, it should have wiring diagrams in there...

Cheers
