Default Radio Harness - Aus/US - Same?

I'm going to put a new stereo in my '97 Excel.

It's cheaper for me to buy an accent radio harness off US eBay for $9USD with postage than buy one locally, I'm assuming since they are the same car it will be all good?

1998 1999 Hyundai Accent Radio Harness Adapter - eBay Other Installation Products, Installation Products, Car Electronics, Consumer Electronics. (end time 16-Jul-08 11:15:38 AEST)

....No one knows?
I think i'll just get one anyway, since it is the same car with just a different name I don't see why it would be different.

yes mate, the excel is an accent in the US, provided you have the same year model there shouldn't be any difference.

however for $9 US on ebay Including postage overseas you may as well go down to supercheap and get the off the shelf Aeropro harness for the hyundai excel for (last time i checked) $12 AU.

on the upside you dont have to wait 7-14 days for delivery !!
