I had mine bored out to a 1.7L by RPW in Australia. I don't know if they're still around, but they did a great job.

I have a '98 Alpha 12v.

alright since my shit is apart, i measured for you guys who just sit around and stuipulate. the cylinder wall thinkness from one cylinder to the other is about 6mm, its tiny. you could do it, wihtout moving into the waterjacket or any oil passages, but you would have really thin walls and wouldnt last very long at high rpm/ boost... just my 2 cents

I'm not sure what pistons they are, but i did find a site selling Wysco pistons that would fit my setup. I can't find the site anymore.

Just to add to it, RPW also O-ringed my block. It's supposed to be a good add on.

Yeah sythe had the right idea. If what your looking for is a bigger bore on an engine go beta... To go beta, bore it out, get some head work and headers and so on you'll be siting at a decent HP level and it will feel smoother cause you would be N/A. If your just looking for some quick power. Beta is nice but takes too long to get everything togetehr just start searching for turbo parts. Scoupe pistons might work for your 1.5 also the manifold. Get it squared at 6-7 psi and you will prolly sit at the same hp as the beta if not more and you will have room to up the psi and make MORE power from that.
