Default Other OEM wheels that fit an Accent, pics inside.

FYI, the late 80's 3-series, aka e30 chassis, has the same bolt pattern as our cars, they also used a FWD-friendly offset. I picked up a set of "bottlecap" wheels from CL, $150 with nearly new H-rated tires, car rides and handles much better than the rock-hard 13" tires were on them. A combination of wider track, wider tires, wider wheels, and stickier rubber compound Only downside is the new wheel/tire combo about 2.5lbs heavier per wheel than the old 13" set (with such little power, any extra weight at the wheel is important!).

14x6 +35 offset, 14.5lbs, 57.1mm hubbore (our cars use 54.1mm hubbore, NOT 67.1mm like some websites say). Best part is that you can re-use your stock lugnuts (even the ones with the rubber washers for wheelcovers, just take the washers out before use so the lugnuts can seat properly), which you can't do with stock Honda civic wheels as they require a ball-seat lugnut.

it looks good, what the tires size?

The only thing that i dont like too much is the rear tire, is sticking out too or maybe its just the picture.

185/65/14 stock bmw size is 195/60/14 which is even closer to the stock size for the accent.

Default Honda Civic HX 14" wheels

Changed the topic of this thread, I guess this should be more a general "other OEM wheels that will fit an Accent"

Here's what the vaunted Civic HX wheels (weighs only 11.75lbs each), 14x5.5 +45 offset looks like on our cars. Plenty of clearance for brakes and under the fenders, but the front driveshafts stick out a bit more than the Civics, thus you can't use the stock centercaps, either run without them or get a taller one. Also of note is that these use a ball-seat lugnut, thus you CANNOT reuse your stock ones. You need ballseat lugnuts for these to be tightened down properly; our lugnuts use the same threadpitch as Hondas so these lugnuts are easy to get.

Also, just like the BMW wheels, these have a larger hubbore than an accent (56.1 vs. 54.1mm for the accent), so its absolutely crucial you torque down the wheels sequentially and without any weight on them so they self-center.

Other wheels that will fit our cars (taking into account bolt pattern, offsets, hubbore) but I have not done it personally include:
Ford Escort
Mercury Tracer
Mazda Miata (pre NC chassis)
Acura Integra *may need ball-seat lugnuts, depends on year, larger hubbore*
Volkswagen Jetta/Golf (pre 1998) *need ball-seat lugnuts, larger hubbore*
Toyota Corolla (pre 2000)
Geo/Chevy Prizm
Chevy Aveo *larger hubbore*

Because used OEM wheels are cheap and usually stronger than most aftermarket wheels, while at the same time weighing as much or more often even lighter (especially if youre increasing the wheel size)?

Unless you spend $$$ on a set of lightweight aftermarket wheels, the extra unsprung weight at each corner adversely affects pretty much every aspect of the cars performance...and every pound of difference is even more magnified on such a low-power, lightweight car like an Accent.

Anyway, this is just some swapping information for people interested in picking up some cheap alloy wheels to swap for their steelies. The aftermarket is always an easier option if you have or willing to spend the money, which I'm not on this car since well it's still an Accent .
