Nope, it would still be ugly. Just fast ugly. I'll gladly follow the first one to get rear ended to the junkyard though and steal its engine and center console trim.

Beppo: First off, thats the British pound, not the euro. Learn your currencies...
Second, the 1.6L is only available in north america. The article is from a british site, and they are describing the UK accent.
Here's another FYI: the beta was always designed for the CVVT, or some sort of variable valve timing. Its been 7+ years already. Dont hold your breath waiting for it.

the front headlights look like the new tibby's headlights only smaller, and the rear tailights are, welll ets just say, their different........so all in all since im a accent and elantra lover (yes i can be both) i'd say it looks good, but the old headlight are way better lookin to me, and yes they do need to upscale the engine to about 120. but then it would be near elantra/I-4 tibby area, so you know what else needs to be bumped up alsoX)
wow I never knew hyundai was planning on getting CVVT!
By the way, I like the new 03 accent look...hope they improved safety too...although that engine downgrade is kinda crazy, but I guess they want to make it more efficient and stuff...bleh!

downgrade? I think Hyundai is actually going to be getting rid of the 1.5L in U.S. and Canada and only sticking the 1.6L (maybe something bigger for special edition) in the Accent.
