I began to restore my car since last year (scoupe GT), and I'm almost finished! I have a upgrade a engine with other turbo and a intercooler, and i want install a dump valve/bov but therein lies the problem! I have a turbo boost gauge and the car make a good pressure and is very stable! But if i connect a bov the rpm almost going down, and the engine he even go down! or almost ... if i dont have a bov connect, no problem, but with her the car gets very unstable rotation and can not stand and ends up going down ... I have no leaks .. .. (unlikely I checked all)
It's weird because I've ever had a VW G40 and I've never had a problem of this type, and as others of the same model, turbo, have one and it works perfectly, so in my also have to work!
Anyone have ideas to help me?
