What do you mean by x3 tib?
X3 is the chasis code for the 95-99 Accent.
RD is the chasis code for the 97-2001 Tiburon and GK is the code for 2003 Tiburon.

I suggest getting the 03 Tiburon with the 4cyl Beta engine, and then turbo that engine. There isn't hardly anything for the 6cyl, and probably wont be for some time.

I discourage you from buying the 6cyl. been some problems with it lately.

Problems in what area? I have seen nothing but flawless performance in my X3. . . no GK Tiburon V6.

They have had mostly small problems and I believe most of them have been fixed. The one major problem they have had is the motor mount bolt coming loose and the engine snapping back. (very bad) This can be easily rememdied by going to the dealership and having them check to see if the bolt is torqued properly.

Only other issue with the V6 is if you want to run gobs of power out of it. The block is only good to about 250whp. Unfortunately, everyone now thinks it is a bad purchase because of this but in reality, the majority of the tuners on this board will not go over 250whp.

If your looking for a good daily driver that is easily tunable, then the V6 is the way to go. If you want to run gobbs of boost then the 4cyl is the way to go.

I'd say get the 'O3 I4 then get a CNK turbo. That is an awesome looking car and pushing 300+ hp I would be a FAST AWESOME LOOKING car.
