Default MOVED: broken timeing belt

Hi all!!

I just had a broken timeing belt on my '94 Elentra .Is anybody know what tipe of engine is in ..? ..interference fit or not .
I'm paying $475. Am i getting hosed?? what are the odds I bent my valves, If i did how much is reasonable to have that fixed, or is it even worth it?
Please share me any info what you own about it . Thanks a lot.... uzzled:

400-500 seems right to be paying for the timing belt
they would of told you if you bent any valves or what not
so your good to go

I don't think Tiburon will have problem with bent valves because timing belt is on INTKAE cam and intake cam is CHAINED to exhaust cam which will keep the timing intact even if the BELT goes out

only applies to BETA ENGINES

EDIT! oops I didn't see u had 94 Elantra which would have Mitubishi engine. quite possibly bent valves.
