Anyone seen a Hyundai Getz in real life? I guess this would be directed more towards the Aussies here.

I'd buy one if I could only get it imported without having to pay a sh1tload in money.

Problem with the Getz is the engine, I'm pretty sure it has less HP than the Accent... cool looking car though, and I agree, looks very similar to a Golf

Well, I have driven a Getz.....

and fitted 40mm lower springs to a Getz, fitted 17*7" mags to a Getz, fitted rear discs and 330 mm front discs to a Getz..... I also have a set of brand new DBA cross drilled and slotted 242mm front disc rotors sitting on my bookshelf here at home for a Getz.

So yes, I have ... if anyone else was at the Sydney International Motorshow in October they would have see it. - the Black one!

It has the same motor as the current Aust spec LC Accent 1.5 DOHC. The Accent extractors bolt straight up to it as well.

The Getz looks like a great little car. Wish they would import them to the States.
