so what's up with the upscale brand that i heard of ??? did they give it a green light or is it a no go???

Best bet is to search for the thread that has the first info posted, other than that I don't think anything new has been discovered about it... remember though that this "upscale" brand was for Korea, not the US, and I find it highly unlikely that this new luxury brand would be released in America, at least not for the time being, I can already hear people saying "Its just a Hyundai with different badges, who wants to drive a piece of crap Hyundai" ... so just let Hyundai continue to better the rep and 5-10 years from now maybe you'll see their luxury brand over here...
