Whoa,This is a sticky and OLD Topic,
My XG Was Made in Asan South Korea, Ulsan is For Hyundais Low-end Models.
The Weird Thing is That My Car's VIN number was Claimed a Invalid VIN Number by The Hyundai Roadside Assistance.
and I Found out Why
My XG's 8th Digit was a "E"??, There is No "E" In the Decoder, The Correct One is "D" for The XG300's 2072cc Sigma V6.
So I Have Reason To believe That Hyundai's making Mistakes and Mistates with it's VIN Number's,
Something to work on, For Problems like this'll cause a Frustration when a Owner stranded with his Downed Hyundai is denied Assistance because of a faulty VIN Number as I Was.
