There are done up Elantras. Not too common, though. Use the search function found in the upper-right part of the page, then search for more info!

If you're looking for engine mods for the Elantra, talk to all the people who've modded the 2-door version. It's called the "Tiburon" : )

I belive that it will work in your car since the sensor is MAF based, like the tibs, ask around first

The AEM intake for the RD Tiburon would work in the J2 Elantra, since the engine bays are almost exactly the same. It's likely that you have to do some modifications to make it fit though. Not sure, because I don't have that on my car.

check out my site. its all about J2s, has links to other sites too! J2s (96-98) Elantra/lantras have the Beta I (1.8/1.6, 2.0?) the beta I dont do the BEST when it comes to bolt on modifications but they respond VERY well to turbo charging. i have intake, BBTB, and exhaust (automatic transmission) and my car moves pretty quick (for an auto). the AEM intakes CAN fit BUT some J2s and RDs need some minor like removing the evap canister (this is only on revision A models) check here: http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/topic.php?t=25610 GOOD LUCK! :rambo:
