Default Awesome Kia Concept!

I know it isn't a Hyundai, but it is a member of the Hyundai familiy:

http://www.thecarmagazine.com/en/inf...tid=30867&pg=1

This is a Kia I would actually consider buying! It features a mildly turboed Theta. Notice the Bangle-type headlights (think new BMW 5 series)? These are the first ones I have seen that looks good.

Buy a next-gen Accent, wait a few years, then swap in the motor from a rolled Evo X. (The X will be the first Theta-powered Evo.)

"Sigh"

If only the Kia Were sold the same way as the concept,
I Just love that sexy rear bumper and gorgeous Chrome rims,

Slap a toyota badge on that car and people'll really be fooled to see it's a KIA,
and it would also persuade them how wrong they were to think korean car's were Above average Compact cars,

My bad.... I meant Sportage. Turns out the diesel comes out in late '05. The new Sportage is out in January '05.

so is this a concept or really a mass production ready vehicle?

And what will be the Hyundais answer to Theta-Turbo powered KIA? I can't get all the pieces together here.

Based on Hyundai's new strategy, there may not be a Hyundai version of this car. They have stated that they want Hyundai to the the premium brand and Kia to be the sport brand.
