If I'm correct, and it has been known to happen occasionally, doesn't Hyundai have to build so many 2.0L AWD turbo accents for homologation purposes to run in the WRC? Where are those cars?! Maybe Hyundai should follow Subaru and Mitsubishi and send us the Accent WRC2! Oh happy day!
I love rallies.

Not in the rally classes they drive in. In some rally classes, yes, they must make at least 500 production units. (wonder why the UK got 500 F2 Evo's???)

So the WRC accent's aren't going for the World title like the Subaru's and Mitsubishi's are? Coulda sworn they were earning Manufacturers points for a reason...

No, the WRC class they race in does NOT require them to follow the 500 Car rule. Peugeot doesn't make 500 AWD turbocharged 206's....neither does Skoda or Citroen. It is only in the PRODUCTION CLASS that you must race a 500 make PRODUCTION car. You love rally racing, then you should read up on it!
