Default Re: which tires?

i'm just replacing a set of pirelli p7000's.. great grip and lightweight, super handling even in wet, but they wear quickly (lasted two summers of fairly conservative/highway driving). i'm looking at toyos for my new set.

Well what's most important to you, tread life or traction? If you want traction, tread life be dam*ed, go with some DOT legal roadrace tires, like the Yokohama A032R's or the Kumho Victoracer. If you're worried about tread like, the Nitto's are a good choice, either NT-450 or NT-555. The Pirelli's are pretty decent, too. The Scorchers are pretty, but that's all they are.
