Default Santa fe vs. CRV

Ok a few of us were a little pissed a month or so ago when an article came out saying the CRV was better than the Santa fe even though all the tests showed the Santa fe to be better. Well after talking to my district manager and telling him about this site I found out he owns a Santa fe. After talking to him a little more I also found out he has a CRV.
Well I had to ask which one he liked better and without hesitating he said the Santa fe. He said not only did it have more power and handled better but for a $1000 less he got way more features including th V6.
So when an un biased comparison is done the Santa fe wins over the CRV hands down

Default Re: Santa fe vs. CRV

Those testers must have 1) been on crack or 2) be ignorant testers who think hyundai is crap and went in there with a negative attitude. I would never buy a CRV. They are cheap, look like crap, buzzy and are the minivan alternative. The Santa Fe offers gorgeous styling, All wheel drive, its comfortable and at a reasonable price. I am replacing my 1996 Jeep Cheorkee with either a Hyundai Santa Fe or a Jeep Liberty. The Ford Escape was on the list, but the Santa Fe BEAT the Escape and that car is too cheap for my tastes and its Ford, which makes it even worse. Im leaning towards the liberty though because you can get 5spd with 4 cylinder and 4wd where the santa fe you can only get 2wd.

I eat Honda Civics for breakfast, Toyota Corollas for lunch, and Volkswagen Jettas for dinner
