Default Anyone in New York, Connecticut

Can anyone reccomend a dealership who are cool with modifications? I really love knowing I have this warranty but I feel it limits me in doing what I want to my car. Thanks for any input.

I'm not in Connecticut anymore, but the dealership I purchased the car off of was FANTASTIC! I had asked the question about mods and they mentioned that many of them won't void the warranty. I think if you start messing around with engine management, etc. it would.

You might be able to sneak into the garage and talk to one of the mechanics and see if he'll do the mods for you off the clock. You have to walk through the garage to get to the service area anyway.

It's the Danbury Hyundai dealership at 100 Federal Road in Danbury, CT. They're tucked in between the Mitsibushi and Dodge dealerships right next to the 84 overpass. You'll have to take 7 North off of 84. Get off of the Federal Road exit and take a right (on to White Turkey Plain Road). Go all the way to the light and take a left. Continue straight until you see the dealership on your right after you go under 84.

Good Luck.

I'm in upstate NY, so I doubt any dealers around here would be able to help you out. But my dealer is also one of my sponsors, so they could care less what I do to my car. They know about everything I'm doing to my car before hand, but still...they knew about my nitrous, and all the otehr crap I have done. They're mad cool about stuff, and last summer...they had a BBQ at the dealer for potential customers. They called me and asked if I would bring my car down to their showroom to show off to everyone. Plus I've brought them soooooo much damn business, it's not even funny. I think if you build as much rapport with your dealer and service manager as possible, then you'll be pretty much safe on doing alot of mods to your car without them complaining too much.

Lo and show where upstate are you located? What dealership is this? I am in Poughkeepsie and willing to drive to a enw dealership because I am not too happy with the service I get to now. The Hyundai techs where I go look like they hate Hyundais! Plus I have my 15,000 mile service coming up and would like to go elsewhere.

If you do go to the Danbury Hyundai dealer, please do me a favor and mention that you were referred by the guy that used to work for Duracell.
