Installing Tacho Cluster

Just a quick question, i'm looking to install an instrument cluster with a tacho to replace the standard tacho(X3 twin cam) from a GX(X3 excel twin cam w/tacho).

What is different, and what needs to be changed??

FYI - my car was slightly different though its a twin cam (nov 97 build) it had a single cam wireing loom. So the tacho wire was white an not brown w/white stripe. Also the engine check and fuel low lights were reversed.
