Good thing I don't have a Tiburon, but the Accent isn't too far down the list.
I live in the North American Capital for stolen cars too. :dead:

They don'y really say what years are stolen the most. For the accent i would think that it is the x3 that get stolen the most.

hehe i don't know why anyone would wanna steal my crap box 95 accent... it'll be sweet when i'm done with it...

i think it's based on 2000-2001 models cuz it says "Top 10 - Most frequently stolen vehicles (2000 - 2001 models)"

That is funny. I would think that they would steal a discontinued model more. Oh well.

I do know that here in Quebec a lot of stock Hyundai CD players get stolen.

Nobody has tampered with my car....***touch wood***
My alarm is a fairly good one and I have a couple of LED lights to let people know that I DO have an alarm.
As a Hyundai dealer I find that a lot of my customers think that ALL tiburons are easy to steal. Not the case... The 2003 Tib is almost impossible to steal... Unless you have a tow truck handy...:duh:

I dunno, I once locked myself out my car and the towing service couldn't open my car, they even sent like 2 trucks to open it.
They just couldnt do it, it had to be towed to the dealer who opened it the next day, with a lot of pain and grief.
I park my car in an underground garage, there's security, and like next to me theres a 2002 mercedes sl500, so yeah it's a pretty loaded place,so they take car of our cars here.

The x3 Accent is very easy to break into, so it doesn't surprise me that it has been on that list before for pre-2000 models.
My car has been broken into, so I can attest for the "ease-of-unauthorized-entry" factor.
