Victoria Day weekend sounds good to me...

What would everyone want to do?

There's a cool indoor go-karting place across the river in Quebec, a very short drive away.

Anyone who's into biking: the Gatineau Hills are a great place to bike.

There are lots of bars around the downtown area. A pub crawl would be very easy.

We have a Triple-A baseball team here, the Ottawa Lynx. Tickets are cheap.

There's a Casino, and a horse racetrack with slot machines (for those into gambling)

For those into scenic things, there's a steam train that runs from Hull (Quebec, right across the river again) to rural Quebec.

There's a Laser Quest/ Laser Tag type thing in the east end.

The snow will be gone by then, so the weather SHOULD be nice.

That's all I can think of now. How about everyone post what they think would be fun to do, and us Ottawa types can tell you if we have it here or nearby.

I was thinking that we could get together in the afternoon and park our cars and show them off, lol

This way we get a chance to se the other embers rides. then we could go somewhere for dinner and be able to talk and get to know eachother better(I sound like we are going on a date) Then form there we could crab some beers.

I am up to anything really. Maybe even a little cruise after dinner. it would be nice to see all the hyundais going down the street together!

I like John's idea. Park somewhere, check out each other's cars, dinner, and then a bar or something.
Sounds like a great day to me...

LOL! The May long weekend... My due date is the 25th of May. We will have to plan another big one where I can meet you all, maybe at the end of the summer. There is no way I will make this one! :hmmm:
