Default Formula Kartways Brampton

Who's been there? I went with some friends on Saturday night. It was awesome. I've never been on fast karts and the concrete surface makes it even better. $5 for a lifetime membership, and you can only get one if you have a valid drvier's license. After that it's $25 for 20 laps. The course is about a 1/4mile long and takes about 35 seconds to run a lap. There's also an oval track, but the road track is much more entertaining. I did post the fastest average time because I won't shove past slower cars, I'll sit behind them, wait for an opening and motor past them. I did however post the fastest lap by over a second. I ran a 34.75 and the next quickest of my friends ran a 35.83. One friend spent more time spun out into the tires than anything, he drives a Civic to put into perspective. I will definitely be going back as much as possible, a lot of fun to be had there. http://www.formulakartways.com

I have been there quite a few times. The Enduro-Races that run three hours is quite the competition. You should try it some time! Anything in the 34 second bracket is a very good lap. How was your average? I usually get the fastest average in the groups I go with. That is the best I can hope for since my ass is so big! LOL...

You should come with us when we go next.:

My average was 38.14 because I wouldn't shove between two girls who were on the trackwith us, I spent three laps trying to get past them without any contact, that's the one area I really need to practice more, making openings. My five fastest were 34.75, 34.90, 35.21, 35.31, and a 36.00 soon after the start.

Right on, I was there a month ago on the oval doing a duro. I race on a team in hamilton driving a rotax 125cc. You can sign up for a series there too. 1000 members.

We should go. Last time they changed the track the record was 29.2 and I got 31.8

recently i've been hanging around in the low 33's but I want a real challenge. I kill my buddies on the track, but they don't drive cars like I do or even tune them.

LETS DO IT!
