Will be in London, ON, CA in April. (Had an enjoyable time updated) - Hyundai Performance Forums

Hey guys,
My wife, her Mom, and I will be in London in the first week of April. Should be there the 2nd or 3rd and will leave the 6th or 7th. My mother-in-law is doing Ballet exams there for a dance school, so my wife and I thought it would be cool to go up with her and chill. I was up there last year and enjoyed the scene. Stayed at the bed n breakfasts and that is what we plan on doing this time to. Since my wife and her Mom are going to be leave me all alone a few hours here and there, I thought it would be cool if anyone here on the forums lived close...well I could meet up and chat with you. I will be driving my Lc up and thought it would be cool to see what others think of it and see there ride to. Last year when I was there I met a guy in London that owned a performance shop called Extreme Performance...I think. I will stop there to and see what you Canadians are up to.

Well that was all, I just thought if any one was close by, it would be neat to meet.

Well it is a go. I will be up in London Ontario and it looks like none of you live near here. Just thought it would be cool to see and chat with a few of you guy or gals when my wife and her mom are doing ballet sh!t. Anyways, I hope I will be enjoying better weather than last year, it was cold and snowy.

There are lots of us who live within a couple of hours of London, Ontario. I'm only about an hour and would be willing to make the drive if time permits.

Since the weather is starting to warm up around here, it would be a good time for a first meet this year! Give it a few days for people to see this thread and have more people wanting to meet.

But... I'm in!

IT does not have to be anything special. My wife and I will be goofing around there in London and I thought it would be neet to caht with someof you I have on line here. I will have a nice paycheck before I come up and will definately want to go out and do some fun stuff. But cool, I found out the Essential Speed Shop is only 1 hour away and I think I am going to try to go there on Monday the 5th. Would love to see there shop since the have a bolt on turbo kit for the 1.6L LC.

the london auto club has a meet every saturday nite i have never been yet, i know of 1 hyundai tib that goes thats it i beleive, heres the info and map, Announcement: LAC Weekly Meet Location Information im allways drinking on that day and time but i will come out to this if everyones intrested they will be shocked at the amount of hyundai's if we would meet there.but if not email me i live in london we can go out do something.i wouldn't mind going up to kitchener to essential speed and checking out there shop that would be on a saturday to make sure there open ,we could email,call them and make sure they will be there.

Very cool. I emailed ES.com that I would be in London and asked how far it was from thier shop. They todl me an hour and that I would need to email them or call to make sure they would be there. He was looking forward to seeing me at his shop and some company on the way there would be great. I am open for just about anything, I am just the driver for my wife and her mom, so this makes my vacation well worth the taking. Really worth it in Canada...Canada is a really cool place to hang out. But I guess that goes for any place if you don't live there everyday, that is what I am always told.

Well in just a couple cays I will be on the way to London. I will be there by Saturday afternoon. Some time saturday I have to see a modern dance production in London with my wife and mother in law. When finished I will be really ready to drink some beer and hang out with some cool Hyundai people. Will update Friday morning for better specifics. Well have fun guys and hope my mother in law and wife do try to keep me bust with ballet stufff. I need a brake of fun and beer and relaxation. In the last two weeks for my pay period I put in 158 hours worth of work. I realllllly ned the brake!
