Ok 1: what kind of drinks do they serve up there? Like, can I get a Long Island Iced Tea? Strawberry Daquari? Pina Colada? Magarita? Bacardi 151?
and I only know of one record store on Queen Street, near the comic book store that I ran into Burton Cummings in last year. Anybody know of anymore? Any used record stores (by records I mean CDs)?
Any other good places I oughta check out? We're definetly gonna climb (well elevate) the CN Tower this time, and go down to the Lake, but what else? I'll be there for about 5 days so I need to make the best of my time. Thanks

Any kind of drink you want pretty well.

There are quite a few - HMV and others in the Eaton Center in downtown Toronto. There are smaller shops on Queen Street, and in the downtown core. While on Queen, you can also Drop by Muchmusic (Canada's version of MTV http://www.muchmusic.com ) and see what they have going on during the time you are here - maybe have a star there for interview. They open the front doors and windows, and people can crowd around and interact with the TV program. Check the phone book when you get here for music store locations in the downtown core.

Deffinetly the CN tower - check out Planet Hollywood while you are down in that end of Front Street - or you can eat at Wayne Gretsky's just around the corner. Queen Street shopping is just north of the CN tower - a very short walk. Some of the best shops are right in that neck of the woods. Also check out Union Station - its a busy railway station - but its really big and cool. Old too. If you have time - also check out the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) its only a short cab ride from the downtown core. Toronto Science Center is a bit of a haul - high on the east side of Toronto by Scarborough - and its geared towards kids - but its alot of fun even for adults that behave like kids.
Take a look at the Royal York Hotel on Front street too - its right across the street from Union Station. You wouldnt be able to tour it, but from the outside its pretty cool to look at. The hockey hall of fame is also downtown, near the Air Canada Center, which is also within short walking distance of Union Station. There is also the Toronto Islands tour, which you can catch from.. I think its Jarvis Street at the lake. Don't quote me on that one.
Shopping
There's the Eaton Center - its a great modern mall - with some of Canada's greatest stores in it - very modern fashion there.
If you are up for a bit of a hike - there's Yorkdale Mall up on the top of Toronto off of Dufferin St.
Scarborough Town Center is a good 30 minutes from downtown if traffic is good - not a bad mall - pretty big.
Fairview Mall is at the far far top of Toronto - another 30 mintes drive from downtown - this mall is really nice.
All of these malls are in the top 10 malls in Canada - and they are constantly taking and give up the #1 spot.
Great shopping at any of em - Eaton center is the most accessable from downtown.
That should keep you busy for at least 4 days.

Sweet! Thanks a bunch. We walked by Much Music the last time I was there. Wasn't all that exciting...I wonder if Bradford's still there, or George Strombolopoulos, then it'd be cool. But anyway thanks, thats awesome.
