Okay here is what happened, I had my Tiburon in a local paper, well somehow a buyer in canada bought the car and sent a cashiers check from a fake bank in canada.
So now I have the FBI and everything else here I have to deal with everytime that I call this fucker, and he is never there.
The last name Sugney is not recognised on three databases in all of Canada.
A yahoo search for "bob sugney" and "robert Sugney" no hits whatsoever.
If the FBI are involved, I am surprised that they have not contacted the phone provider for the # you have given and obtained the registered information.
I still need more information to try and locate this guy - unless this is all you have?
Did the Tiburon get delivered? Was a shipping company used? What about customs documentation?
Did the car ACTUALLY make it to Canada? Are you sure? If so, gimme the VIN number and I can run a UVIP at the Ministry of Transportation to see who its registered to. (you'll have to paypall me 20 bucks - thats the cost)
Any of these will usually leave a snail trail to the culprit.
BTW - I called the cell # today - no answer - but the voicemail was clear and accepting messages.
Oh yeah - is it possible this car may be just in another State, and the car is in a chop shop? If the probability is low, check the VIN in your 'States DMV, and I can check up here for it on Ontario - if no matches - I can have a P.I. I use run the VIN in all states and provinces in NORTH AMERICA for $200 CAD. Option maybe?
