Default YAH!!! I just finished my beta swap! how many are there?

WOW what a PITA!!! I think i tried 100 different wiring combinations just to discover my starter was bad and the first combination was the right one. oh well, its done now!!! Just have to make the exhaust so i can drive it. can't wait!

Hmm how many others have done beta swaps in canada?

I'm in the gta and have a 97 accent gt which is swapped.. what part of canada are you in... we are in the prossess of another swap right... and i know of at least 2-3 other swapped in the gta....

I live in bolton, not sure if you know where that is but it is a part of the gta...What I wouldn't have given to have a year or 3 newer accent...holy wiring! finally got it sorted out and couldnt be happier! just have a MIL for the evap canister, other then that its great!

Im really suprised how fast it feels, must be a fairly torquey motor.

Yes it does and it really surprises the hell outta people in faster cars.. i mean i've take some decently quick cars with it.. GSR, v8 caprice, ram cummins turbo, kept up to a 350 camero on the hwy to about 220km/h... the car is so much fun to drive...

fun to drive is right! I've owned an srt-4, but I find this car much more fun. everyone knows an srt-4 is fast. but Its way more fun when you get a whole bunch of guys who think there cars are sooo fast and then they cant even keep up with an accent! My best kill and only "race" thus far in the 4 days i've had it running is an 87 iroc camaro. Im not a particular fan of street racing, but i had to let the new engine stretch her legs.

We can meet up sometime spikie if ya want, always nice to meet a fellow hyundai enthusiast. Whats your name? The names sean! pleasure to meet ya. whats with this hyundai sunday thing is it ever gonna be organized?
