My tiburon did 15.9 sec 1/4 mile with an air intake and centreforce clutch got headers and big bore throttle body now gonna find out this weekend new time.
I know that the last owner of my car did 13.6 with a t25 turbo and slicks.. a 16 or 17 psi
My engine wouldnt run a life at 25 psi but with the gt28r turbo at 25 psi and slick... the best run i could do is probable a 13 flat ... with stock interns eheh
But the engine wouldnt resist very long with such a high lvl of pressure...
My pretty much well stock '96 Accent GT ran a 1/4 mile, 16.5 @90MPH just awhile ago . Only thing that has been changed on my car is the 5speed clutch, engine swap(same GT engine, just lower km's and better condition than the one the car came with), engine rebuild, removal of intake resonators.
NOTE: I did this with a stopwatch, measuring out the 1/4 mile on a clear, smooth, slightly curved road with the cars odometer, than running it. Nearest track/dragstrip is about 9hours away from me.
My pretty much well stock '96 Accent GT ran a 1/4 mile, 13.54 @91.6MPH just awhile ago . Only thing that has been changed on my car is the 5speed clutch, engine swap(same GT engine, just lower km's and better condition than the one the car came with), engine rebuild, removal of intake resonators.
Holy F**k!, everyone jumped on me on that quickly, but I just noticed that I typed it in wrong. I ment to put (16.5) not 13.54. Just to clear things up

No it's true...
GT dohc 1.5 can do 16.5 easily... i did 17.54 with my 90bhp without weight reduction
16.5 is barely possible for a 1.5 dohc with a healty engine eheh
