Default Turbo your car in ontario... legality?

Im planning on turboing my beta accent in the spring. One guy I know told me its illegal to turbo your car unless you get your ownership redone at the minisrty of transportation, stateing that the car is turbo. Does anyone know if this is true? Or is he full of bull****?

Also he said if they catch you driving illegaly turbocharged. They confinscate your vehicle and rip your parts off. Does anyone one if this is true?

as far as i know that is bull. if thats the case there would be tons of v8 powered cars being pulled of the road all the time.

It is bull. Look at your ownership. What does it say?

NUmber of cylinders: (in my nissan sentra 1988 it says 8 actually lol)
and
Type of gasoline:

Stay in these parameters and continue to put a different car under the dyno for etest and you will be OK.

they cant do sh1t as far as legality
but your insurance can cancel your coverage if they want, there has been a few cases where insurance companies have found out about engine swaps and turbos and canceled that day. but if you dont claim small mods like lowering springs they dont have to cover you either. its just and easy way for them to save money if you wreck your car.

Mother**** insurance companies... they gave me nothing for my blue pony when I totalled it.

Although they didn't seem to care that I requested to pull the engine from the shell... didn't even care that I put in a larger engine into it to begin with. (200 cc difference)

hah K-DUB!

I love that place... it's the last salvation for pony parts, cheap junkyards, and where I bought my 2002 focus rims on my pony (for $200 with rubbers)

K dub what!!
