Default For those who can't make HS 2007...

I propose another meet, on the PROPER date. We'll call it Hyun-day, so as to not get sued into oblivion by the organizational prowess of some of the less-thoughtful members on THIS board.

August 26th, meet, bbq, hit a beach up, I dunno let's do something fun. Let me know. Spikie, Yoon, James, let me know. We'll see if we can salvage this summer.

Yeah I like the bbq at the park idea. There's a gorgeous park at the end of our street which has picnic tables and bbqs galore and plenty of parking.

May I suggest you wait until the vote closes before planning an alternate meet?

As per the "fair" outcome (and the total failure by Graham to uphold a just vote, when he KNEW there would be no way to track + verify the votes ) I continue to organize something for the 26th. Maybe even the 25th and have it be a 2 day thing, with a cruise to Wasaga and a BBQ there on the beach on Saturday, and the main meet on Sunday, maybe even at Attrell Hyundai! Saturday night we could go out to Phoenix in Toronto, I know the DJ and most of the bouncers so it will be VIP treatment and it will be free!

We'll call this meet Hyundai Sunday, lawsuit pending. If I do manage to organize it for Sunday at Attrell, we will of course call it something different. No need to get the dealership in any kind of shit.

So what are the benefits of coming on the 26th? You get:

-BBQ
-Beach Hot spot
-LONG cruise amongst other modified cars on an awesome windy road
-Most of you will get a free place to stay (sign up now!)
-Drinking
-Free access to a club (probably Phoenix)
-A VARIETY of Hyundai Products
-3, possibly 4 Ponys and lots of older cars too
-Being with friends, and a bullshit-free environment

So far, I have Jerzy (2 Liter Accent), Stipe (2 Liter Accent), his brother (Accent GT), Clayton (86 Pony), James (86 Stellar), Peter (99 RD), his friend with the excel, Mark (LC2 accent - Ottawa), Shaun (Santa Fe), I'm hoping to hear from Yoon, Rixshark, nightshark, and whoever voted for the 26th.

Remeber, this event is abotu FUN, and is in no way designed to compete against the "other" HS.

Shit, come to both, the more meets the better!

OK... So why the hell are you bashing me now. All I was trying to do was to put an end to this for good.

I never attacked you.

I asked politely for you to leave the Hyundai Sunday name alone.

Now I am telling you.

Hyundai Sunday is not yours. GOT IT?

It has been my baby since day one. Don't you fucking call your meet the same thing. Be creative. Use your brain.

Jed, I can't believe you are turning on me like this. After all these years. You let a sutpid vote come between a friendship. Where the hell is your common sense of decency?

I am at a loss for words.... I can't believe this is happening...

Are you planning on doing the Forks of the Credit route? If so, I'm gonna have to pass on that section. I went 2 years ago and all I did was scrape my ass (front end) around a few of the turns. I could give it a shot again, now that I have a bit more experience with it, but its going to be a slow one.....

I'll go, so long as this dick measuring contest is put to an end. Don't call it Hyundai Sunday, who cares what you call it, just leave it as a meet. By calling it HS, you're just stirring up shit, so just leave the name alone.

No forks. My friend lost his engine on that course... that one sharp turn, he snagged an engine mount and tore it out.

Forks = bad for anything but a jeep

I'll be taking Airport rd up.

In the interests of keeping this thread about a meet, and not another thread for increasing post count by bitching, I rename this meet to: "I have not thought of a suitable name yet" meet.

Sounds good. Hockley Road is a good drive.....nice and twisty, and long stretches between stops...AND its accessible from Airport Rd.
