Right, effective March 1, 2008 both myself and Rix stepped down from our positions as managers on Lethal Invasion. We decided that the neither of us could afford the level of commitment that was needed, as well as the stress level at a few events was more than enough.
That being said, we decided to take a step back to when it was about going to meets/events and just having a good time joking around with other car enthusiasts. We have formed an all-makes car club called Street Legal Cruisers, definition of the name is on the board. We'll still be doing shows, cruise nights and local meets, but taking a much more relaxed approach to everything.
Rather than having a full management structure, we are going with the titles of Co-chairs for Rick and myself, and coordinators for Big_red (John with the red and black escort) and ERock (Erik with the burgundy and gunmetal probe from Niagara). We have yet to determine if we will have a coordinator in the Ottawa region as yet, although most likely.
We have set up our new board, and are launching it effective today, so feel free to join up.
