Default Hand brake cable

Im not sure the cable is the same, however, the disc system uses a cable just like the drum system. Worst case scenario, I will have to use the cable from the sonata but Im sure that everything will connect. Im hoping to get to the junkyard this coming weekend. I will let you know.

- Hi WrenchBench, is this really possible?
How would you integrate the hand brake cable etc?

Cheers

Very good. Take lots of pics and a write up of how to do it would be awesome.

Thanks mate, that'd be awesome!!

I think replacing the cable with the sonata one would be a tough job, hey.

Also, would it really work, cos the length of the sonata chassis is longer, you would have alot of slack?? Unless you can cut and recrimp the cable/connectors??

Intersesting though, I , may have to look into this a little further when I get some time.

Cheers

Default Cable

Actually, I could route it off course to take up additional slack if the standard cable wont line up. Im planning to go junkin on Sunday, then to a picnic for the holiday. Any of you guys ever rebuild your motors and if so, any oil consumption issues?
