I'm going crazy here! My 09 Elantra has been making strange squeaking sounds as of a few weeks ago. My first thought was a belt. I replaced both belts, and it's still squeaking. I checked for anything that could be rubbing or not where it should be, but everything checks out. What's strange is it doesn't do it while idling, reverse, or on the highway. It only happens in Drive, while going under 40. If i turn the steering wheel a bit it makes a squeak. It's got EPS, so it's not low fluid. I tried to check for dry bushings or anything related but still nothing.
