I got 2450 miles on mine. No big problems so far. Just had to get use to the noise struts make going ouer bumps & pot holes in NYC. It's great on the highway, handles great but need MORE POWER!!! 8DX)

Yes I agree it could definitely use some more low end grunt, and the mileage for this size vehicle with a 4 cylinder isn't the best either. Our Corolla does a LOT better on mileage and absorbs bumps a lot better. But then again, power everything and leather all for a low price means some sacrifices I guess.

Hyundai's seem to be very reliable. My first problem was with the Pulse Generator(Sensor for the Transmission). A minor problem, and that was at 49,000 miles. Not bragging but I have not even taken my car in for it's scheduled check ups yet. Some time this week maybe, anyway...... They're super reliable!!

Hi !

9000 km

TPS changed twice
black plastic pieces outside the top running from back to front changed twice

still have trouble with injection : humid and cold weather : my engine is running 4000RPM when starting and doesn't go down until i give more gaz....
Still have a 4 seconds delay when wanting to use the compression brake ( i'm driving a manual transmission) after releasing the gaz,

then engine makes strange noise when starting in cold weather.

I had to manually close all the doors because the driver side door engine works when it has time to. the alarm system doens't arm when a door is not closed..

I have a windshield noise inside the car. it makes the same noise as the 'ploc' one can do with a finger in its mouth... in my experience : the windshield seems to not be glue like it should be.

and a lot of more... POOR windshield : every rock falling on it makes a hole. de-icing in winter is like machining its surface.

Exept that, all is fine. great car for its price but still regret to not exactly have the same engine than the Tiburon. The brake in period was about 6000 km. i run with 91 octane... and it makes a big difference in power and gaz millage.

YannCA, if you know anything about cars at all, to check your throttle problem, I'd check under the hood and see if the throttle sticks at all.
