Some of them (lower ones) you can swap yourself with a couple of handtools. Others you either need someone to help you move the engine around or jack it up.

Some folks do this stuff instead of replacing: http://www.mikekemper.com/elantra/mounts/index.html

And I haven't noticed any problems with my mounts... yet!

Is the noise coming from under the top of your engine? If so, it might be stickey-ish HLA's.

If it's coming from somewhere between the engine and the intake manifold, then it's just loud fuel injectors.

People have fixed the HLA problem by using an engine oil de-gunking additive before changing their oil.

Do you know any of those additives by name? Might be time for me to use some, too!

What he said. I used 'gunk' brand engine flush. Stuff smells nasty, but it mostly works. Try not to get it on your hands, as it says some pretty bad stuff on the can about what it can do to you. ^^;

It's a fluid, so you might want a funnel to pour it in; I wound up with it sloshing off the side of the can at one point. -.-

I switched to a semi-synthetic also, and that seems to have helped with the nose a bit.
