Default Anyone know?

Okay so I got new sticky rubber for my 06 Kia Spec5 for the stock rims, which are the alloys, 16X6 or 6.5 I can't remember which. The stock tire size is 205/50/16. I am planning on getting some Rota AutoX rims in either 16X7 or 16X8 depending on if they will fit on the 8's or not. The stock offset is +42. I have plenty of clearance on the fender side, especially in the back. I am running -2 degrees of camber all the way around thanks to the Eibach springs.

The Rota's options are as follows...

AutoX
16X7 67.1 hub with a 40mm offset
16X7 70.2 hub with a 40mm offset

Slipstreams
16X7 67.1 hub with 35/40/45mm offset
16X8 67.1 hub with 40/45/48mm offset

I know I don't want to get the hub rings so I'm going with the 67.1 hubs. Since the stock offset is 42 and the rims are 2mm less will they work. I have found them on the net with a 45 offset and in an 8 inch rim. The numbers above are from the Rota site. I'm not set on these rims if I can get an 8 inch rim with enough offset to clear everything on the inside and still not rub the fender. I plan on rolling them eventually when I switch to coilovers and slam my car once I get to a state that has better roads than Louisiana. I'm wondering if the 205's will fit on the 8's and not be too stretched to be safely drivable. I'm pretty sure that the 16X7's with a 40mm offset will work but I was just wondering what all of you who have more experience with swapping shoes have to say.

I really want to know if the 16X8's will fit with the 205/50's and at what offsett to keep from rubbing on either side.

I'm still undecided as far as which rim to get. The AutoX would be sick and easy but the Slip Streams would be pretty smooth too with the 8 inch rim and maybe new tires in 225/50/16 but I don't really want to get new tires.

Thanks.

A *really good* wheel shop will have special equipment that will tell them whether any wheel/tire will fit, if nobody here can tell you.
