I never raced that punk in the hybrid silverado...i just didn't want to in an area that has a police training facility around,
I raced a 94 Mustang with the 5.0 Engine...you know, the "New" mustang in the old days with it's slash type tailights and 3-spoke alloys..
he had a exhaust and 18 inch alloys, a mericon boy..
he and i were on the light waiting, he and i both were holding revs and on the green, we both dumped out clutches to crazy tire squeals,
he shifted sooner than my car which had about 2100 more RPM's to go before i slapped to 2nd..we were pretty much side by side..i managed to get a quarter of a car length ahead and stay there while he was grunting his V8 like hell.
then the fun stopped cause we had to stop for a red while he made a left and i made a right.
my car look's almost stock except for the muffler and tailights..i had my 13's on which would make anyone think i'm an incompetent ricer with ricer goodies onboard my LC.
wish i could see the look on the mustangs drivers face.
another Kill was a pontiac sunfire, the good looking 2004 one without the ugly rear bumper
had a 120HP Ecotec motor, "i wonder why they ridded it of the 150HP Motorin the 94 model..too unrefined for today's standard i guess.
he was chasing me on the one lane road, he was floorin it and i could hear his intake Roaring but never gaining.he was about 4 carlengths behind,
i knew the guy though, a local who's probably an enthusiast on cavalier and sunfire's.

Not until 96.
And it's a pretty big feat to even beat the 5.0L Mustang in an Accent, Beta swapped or not. While IMO the 94 Mustang GT is nothing to write home about it's still a reasonably fast car.
