Default Some V6 spankin'

Dude 2 days ago I raced a 2006 Mitsu. Eclipse. Iv'e heard this thing has around 250HP? So we raced from a rolling start in 1st gear and started to pull him right from the start. By 3rd gear I was ahead of him by at least 3 car lengths...first I thought that it was a 4 cyl. but then he came up to me side-by-side and told me the car was a V6! He told me the car was relativeley stock. He had only an intake.

they're about 300+ horses. the motor they have is 200 something and there is an electirc motor in the back which works when at high rpms, around 110 horses i think, not sure. so it's kinda like a twin enigine car.

You're thinking of the Concept-E, the 470hp concept eclipse. The current Eclipse just has a 263hp 3.8L V6.

Considering that it's pretty slow, with a 6.8 second 0-60 and a quarter mile time of 14.9 seconds.

Header, exhaust, CAI, port polished intake manifold, 1.8 cam, Apex SAFC, CenterForce dual friction clutch. Iv'e raced a few stock V6 Tibs. and have not lost to one...remember stock V6's. Was going to race one with I/H/E but the guy never showed up... ...?

ive seen a few if the new v6 eclipse run, not too impressive consittering then horsepower numbers. its just too heavy. i think they took some notes from ford and the shelby on how to mess up a car by making it too heavy. but if u beat one in ur tib more power to ya man, thats pretty sweet.

Yeah, I was really stoked! The thing is that I new that these cars had pretty good HP numbers...The guy even asked me if my car was V6?! I told him that there's no V6 in the RD generations...hehe Pretty funny. I guess since my car beat his he was thinking that only another V6 could of win.

Thats the thing about all these new cars. They all have alot of power but they are way too heavy.
